Hey! My name is Alex Blair. I am a freelance photogrpher and videographer based in Glasgow.
My photogrpahy journey began back at the end of 2020. During covid I bought a camera online and spent about six weeks watching countless YouTube videos on how to shoot, edit, position models, set up lights and almost anything else that goes with photography. After about two months of learning and practicing, I reached out to individuals through Instagram and asked if I could take their photo as a way to start my portfolio. On January 27th 2021 I did my first shoot. From there it was like a snowball effect and it began to grow.
Since then I have been very fortunate to now have worked with over 200+ individuals on both solo projects and work for clients. Never did I think I would turn a lockdown boredom into a full time career. I am very excited to have started my own brand to create content and in January of 2024 did exactly that with 1907 Creative!
I love capturing creative content and working with others to bring their ideas to life. Turning a thought into a visual for others to see is so much fun. I am very grateful to the people I have managed to meet and work with along the way and looking forward to the new and exciting projects to come!
